It was the 23rd December 1989 and Margaret (Peggy) had not been unwell, she had been helping Helena take stuff to new house, started having slight pain but nothing more than wind she thought,only as the night went in she was sick, complaining of indigestion with pain in her chest. The doctor was called early hours of Christmas eve (24th December 1989)about 2am and an ambulance was called. They took her to St Margarets hospital Dunfermline, by 6am they knew it was a heart attack and it was extending, John was called back in to hospital and at 8.20 she died. A great loss to John and also to each and every one of their family.
